Land Science Technologies

Peter Grant is the Vice President of Land Science Technologies (LST), a division of Regenesis, Inc. which is dedicated to providing advanced technologies for sustainable land development. Mr. Grant has overseen the implementation of engineered barriers on hundreds of Brownfield redevelopment sites. While overseeing the use of engineered barriers on a wide range of building types, residential, commercial and industrial, Mr. Grant has become an expert in the implementation of gas vapor barriers. Mr. Grant holds a B.S. from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.

Mitigating vapor intrusion risks using chemically resistant, vapor intrusion barriers is becoming more common within the environmental industry. As regulatory requirements related to vapor intrusion become more stringent, vapor barrier technologies are proving to be effective solutions for both new buildings and existing structures. Selecting and implementing such technologies requires product knowledge, careful planning and proper application.

This complimentary webinar event is designed to educate a wide range of professionals on how to select and implement vapor intrusion barriers. Two of the barriers that will be discussed in the webinar are the following:

GEO-SEAL®: VAPOR INTRUSION BARRIER

Vapor Intrusion Barriers need to balance two key characteristics, chemical resistance (how well the barrier protects against the chemical of concern) and constructability (the ability to effectively seal all entry pathways in a building).

Geo-Seal is a composite system that creates the ideal blend between constructability and chemical resistance by using both high density polyethylene (HDPE) and spray applied asphalt latex.

RETRO-COAT  (PATENT PENDING) VAPOR INTRUSION COATING SYSTEM

The Retro-Coat Vapor Intrusion Coating System is a complete product line that consists of chemically resistant materials to properly protect existing structures from the threat of contaminant vapor intrusion.

Developed by the R&D Team at Land Science Technologies, the Retro-Coat system is the most appropriate coating technology for vapor intrusion protection. It has been subjected to rigorous testing procedures to prove its ability to resist the most aggressive chemical vapors. In addition, Retro-Coat finishes to a high gloss, easy-to-clean surface that is impervious to vapor and moisture transmission.
