    REGENESIS Remediation Solutions webinar

REGENESIS is pleased to annouce our Fall 2017 Remediation Webinars, A Series Focusing on Conceptual Site Models (CSM). This series will feature three special guest presentations from distinguished professionals in the remediation industry. The topics of these webinars include remediation modeling tools for evaluating success, using Environmental Sequence Stratigraphy to establish a conceptual site model, and a groundbreaking case study demonstrating the successful in situ treatment of PFOA and PFOS contaminants in groundwater.

To sign up for all the webinars in this series, please complete the form on this page.

    About the Presenters:

REGENESIS Webinar about PlumeStop with special guest presenter Grant Carey, Ph.D., President, Porewater Solutions
Visualization and Modeling Tools for Evaluating Remediation Performance
    Thursday, October 26th, 2017
Dr. Grant Carey is President of Porewater Solutions, and is an expert in mathematical modeling, NAPL characterization, and environmental forensics, with a focus on both litigation and regulatory projects. His presentation will demonstrate visualization and modeling tools which may be used to improve the assessment and communication of site remediation activities, including Visual Bio, a free radial diagram tool with unique modifications that now make it easy to visualize where biodegradation is occurring in groundwater, and ISR-MT3DMS, a reactive transport model which was recently updated to simulate the performance of PlumeStop® Liquid Activated Carbon.

REGENESIS Webinar about PlumeStop with special guest presenter Rick Cramer, PG, CA Remediation Department Manager, Burns & McDonnell
Using Geology to Follow the Groundwater: Follow the Flow to Successful Remediation
    Wednesday, November 15th, 2017
Rick Cramer is a California licensed Professional Geologist (PG) with over 30 years of environmental experience, and serves as the Remediation Department Manager and Environmental Sequence Stratigraphy Practice Lead with Burns & McDonnell out of their Brea, CA office. His presentation will discuss Environmental Sequence Stratigraphy (ESS), an established methodology used in groundwater remediation that increases our understanding of the subsurface and provides the framework for characterizing contaminant migration pathways and defining the conceptual site model. Examples will be presented that show the efficacy of ESS as a critical path to complex site investigation and remediation.

REGENESIS Webinar about PlumeStop with special guest presenter Rick McGregor, President, InSitu Remediation Services Ltd
Case Study: Successful In Situ Remediation of PFOA and PFOS using PlumeStop Liquid Activated Carbon
    Thursday, December 7th, 2017
Rick McGregor is the President of InSitu Remediation Services Ltd and has over 26 years’ experience in groundwater and soil assessment and remediation. His presentation will discuss the in situ remediation of PFOA and PFOS at a site in central Canada using PlumeStop Liquid Activated Carbon. The former fire training area/fabric coating facility was being remediated for residue petroleum hydrocarbons when groundwater testing indicated that PFOA and PFOS was present within the groundwater. Using direct push technology, Liquid Activated Carbon along with ORC Advanced® was injected at 50 locations within the silty sand aquifer to address the petroleum hydrocarbons.
